Great place to stay in bar harbor! Rooms were very clean and cozy. I saw a previous review that there were no hair dryers or microwave but our room had both and a fridge. The staff at check in are so friendly and helpful. Great location to get to everything around town. There are fresh delicious blueberry muffins in the morning as well as coffee and tea. We loved our stay there and plan to stay at Anchorage again the next time we come to bar harbor.

Newly renovated motel rooms were just as advertised with the online pictures! Rooms were clean we had great service daily. Perfect location, just a 5-10 min walk to downtown bar harbor!! Only downfall was no coffee/tea in your room, had to go to front office to get coffee/tea and muffins. But that wasn’t a major inconvenience!

We had a great experience staying here! The location is perfect, very short walk to the downtown restaurants, bars, and shops! The rooms were clean with a good shower! Susie was so personable and gave us wonderful recommendations for what to do in town! The blueberry muffins that were provided were delicious and perfect fuel for our hike!
Our room was clean, with comfortable beds, and linens. Susie and the rest of the staff were very friendly, Coffee and muffins in the main lobby. There’s even a water bottle filling station to prepare for your hike! The hotel is walking distance to Bar Harbor restaurants and shops!
